Dr.Panchali Moitra is an experienced and qualified nutritionist with a Doctor's degree in Alternative Medicine from IAMR( Institute of Alternative Medicine and Research) and a Masters degree in Foods and Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. She has recently completed a post graduate course in 'Yoga Principles and Practices' at a premier yoga institute in Mumbai and is a certified yoga teacher.
She has been actively involved in assisting overweight people achieve their dream weights and meet their individual nutritional needs. She held a senior consulting position with a Mumbai based wellness organization, Anjali Mukerjee Health Total till recently and has even worked with multinationals like Nestle and Kellogg's India ltd.With a decade old experience of diet counselling , she has been associated with a leading dermatologist and gynaecologist at their respective clinics as their diet consultant.
She has been on the expert panel of www.indiaparenting.com as woman and child nutrition expert and is also the technical advisor (nutrition) for the global magazine, Family and the leading portal catering to baby needs, Husbabies.
Dr. Panchali Moitra has lent her expertise in designing the meals for the first calorie counted meal services, Diet Delivery,Mumbai. She is a freelance content writer and has contributed many health and nutrition based articles for various press and magazines such as Woman's Era, Readers Digest, Stay Fit , B Positive and Complete Wellbeing.
Dr. Panchali Moitra has conducted health workshops for Mumbai Traffic Police, National level gymnasts, private organizations and corporate houses in Mumbai. She was one of the expert panelists for the ‘Horlicks Mission Exams, 2010 and 2011’ chapter and conducted a guided workshop for the parents on ‘ Healthier mind in a Healthier Body’ with copanelist, Mr.Mickey Mehta and Dr.Machiswala.
